History of Camp Patriot

  • 2005: Camp Patriot is Founded

  • 2006: Camp Patriot leads one of the first groups of wounded veterans to the summit of Mt. Rainier. Other outdoor programs include a Maine moose hunt and fishing adventures

  • 2007: Camp Patriot Mt. Rainier Summit Challenge year 2. Other outdoor programs include hunting and fishing trips and a 500-mile motorcycle adventure.

  • 2008: Camp Patriot Mt. Rainier Summit Challenge year 3. Other outdoor programs include a Canadian black bear hunt and fishing adventures.

  • 2009: Camp Patriot Mt. Rainier Summit Challenge year 4. Other outdoor programs include an Idaho elk hunt and fishing adventures.

  • 2010: Camp Patriot Mt. Rainier Summit Challenge year 5. Other outdoor programs include; hunting and fishing adventures and a hike of the Grand Canyon.

  • 2011: Camp Patriot Mt. Rainier Summit Challenge year 6. Other outdoor programs include a Utah elk hunt and fishing adventures, and the Pony Express reenactment ride.

  • 2012: Camp Patriot Mt. Rainier Summit Challenge year 7. Other outdoor programs include hunting and an Alaska fishing adventure.

  • 2013: Camp Patriot launches a $1.5 million Capital Campaign to establish the first-of-a-kind Veterans Retreat Ranch in Northwest Montana. Other outdoor programs include hog hunting and an Alaska fishing adventure.

  • 2014: October; Camp Patriot successfully completes its capital campaign and purchase a 90+ acre ranch in Northwest Montana. Other outdoor programs include an Alaska hunting adventure and a Columbia River fishing trip.

  • 2015: Camp Patriot launches an endowment campaign to ensure that its ranch facility is available to veterans in-perpetuity.
